Jean-Pictet & Columbia
The Jean-Pictet competition is the largest international humanitarian law (IHL) moot competition in the world. Unlike other moot competitions, there is no brief requirement. Instead, teams will spend a week in the Country of Georgia engaging in simulation-based competition highlighting evolving areas of IHL. Previous simulation topics have included children in armed conflict, the intersection of human rights and IHL, and the use of drones in conflict.
To apply, please see the above application and submit your application in accordance with the listed deadline. Applications are open to 1L, 2L, 3L, and LLM students.
